East Village is best known for its quality of life.
It features laid back atmosphere, hundreds of inexpensive restaurants of all
ethnicity, many parks and gardens, lively nightlife that is second to no other
area and fantastic diversity. It is probably the best New York has to offer.
Walking the streets of East Village is entertainment on its own. Tons of great
shops, cafes and lounges make it the hip cool place to hang day or night. You’ll
find the atmosphere very laid back and easy going because that’s the way
of the East Villager. Many of the self employed creative type live here so it
is common to see lots of people hanging out during the day, working on laptops
and sipping their coffee. Ask any East Villager and they'll tell you they definitely
live in the BEST neighborhood in the city and cannot find any reason why you
would ever want to cross the 14th street. |
